Supreme court to hear BCCI plea

The Supreme court to hear BCCI plea of the Board of Control for Cricket in India wanting the court’s authorization to modify its constitution regarding the term of its office bearers comprising that of the President and Secretary. During this time, they cannot hold departments in either a state body or in the BCCI.

Which would facilitate Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah to continue in the department as President and Secretary despite them having finished six years at respective state cricket associations. The Supreme Court said that it would attend to this plea on September 13 on Monday.
